Been a while

Yes I know, bad Andromeda. I should have updated sooner but I just haven't felt like it. Maybe its the holidays or just that's it's winter, just been feeling down.

But, the good news is that my nephew Christopher is finally home. He is doing great and so are the parents. Sorry that this picture is a little blurry. I did tell my mother how to take the picture with her camera because it is so sensitive, she is apparently still working on it (LOVE U MOM). This is my beautiful sister Leora and Christopher. Aren't they so cute? I wish we could go up and see them. But, you know how the holidays are and how the weather is in Colorado. No fun to drive in. You Look so wonderful in these pictures Leora. I miss you guys and love you very much.

Franks birthday was yesterday, the big 30. Caught him using my anti-wrinkle face wash. Thought it was cute. He thinks he's starting to look old so I told him that we will get him his own stuff. Think they make stuff for men to use. We had a great day. We went out to his favorite restaurant the Texas Roadhouse. I made him a cake and I think I did pretty good with it. My sister Athena and her family came over and so did my father and his girlfriend Luxie. It was nice. Nothing big just a little thing with family. Just the way that I like it. My father got his a jacket from Wilson leather again. Not sure what Frank needed with 2 leather jacks (both from my father) but ok. LOL. I suppose its hard to buy for Frank. I have a hard time picking things out for him and were practically married.

Bowen is doing wonderful. Growing everyday and showing us new tricks all the time. Now, if you say touchdown he puts his arms up in the air. It is so cute. Took me a while to teach him that. He's doing very well with feeding himself. In this picture he is eating Chicken Alfredo pasta and he just loves it. It does make me sad because he is getting so big. He's at this in between stage where he's board staying at home but there just isn't enough to do with him. Keeping his gloves on is a battle I will probably never win.

I did have to take him to the doctors office today and they said he's starting to develop Eczema and that it is not uncommon during this time of the year. I didn't know that dairy and junk food can also cause it. Bowen doesn't eat a lot of junk food and sometimes I give him cheese otherwise he is on his Soy Milk all the time. So I went to the store and got him some fragrance free detergent and was told not to use dryer sheets with his clothes. To use the Eucerin and hydro-cortisone cream instead of regular lotion. I also got the Dove Body Wash for sensitive skin because it has no fragrance. I know some people may think I am going overboard but it is best to nick it in the butt when it first starts because it can get very bad and uncomfortable for Bowen. If I start now, then he is more likely to take care of it as he gets older, or so I would hope.

With Christmas right around the corner I find myself in a panic to get all the shopping done. We have yet to do anything and I hate doing it all last minuet. But, with the way bills have been I am going to be happy to do any shopping at all. I am going to have to do small gifts this year. I really hate that because I am one who likes to give a lot. I hate not being able to get the things I really want to give for Christmas. Well, I really don't have much else to say. We didn't do a whole lot today. We watched The Island ,Dukes of Hazzard and Valiant. I liked the first too, but would have to give Valiant a D+. I thought it would be funny because it was produced by the same person who did both the Shrek movies, but I was sadly mistaken. I was bored the whole movie and I kept looking at my watch to see when it was going to be over. So BOO to Valiant and a thumbs WAY down.
