He finally popped the question!!!

Well, he finally asked me to marry him!! Its about damn time. LOL.. It was so beautiful. I kinda had an idea of why we were going up to Glenwood Springs, but I still played stupid. He made me wait the whole day. We went up to this place called Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. It was quite fun. They had this awesome attraction called The Canyon Flyer. It is the first of its kind in the United States. You sit down in this single sized seat where they strap you in and it had levers to control your speed or if u want to stop. The track is over 3,400 feet down a mountainside. It was freakin awesome. I have never been on anything that lets you be in control. Then we went on a ride called there Swing Shot. I thought I was going to lose my lunch cause it swings you over Glenwood Canyon which is a whopping 1,300 feet above the Colorado River. Frank was very scared to go on the ride cause it pulls you up till your pretty much on your back on this seat up in the air and I had to pull the cord. It was fun and scary. Like having a baby! LOL...

Anyways, after we did the Caverns we were on the Tram back to the car when he reached in his pocket and popped the question. I started to cry. Even tho I knew he was going to ask, just the look on his made made my heart melt. Now its time to start planning. HEHE...

Well, thanks for reading. I hope you all have a great week. I will post again soon.

What a wonderful weekend!

I had SUCH a wonderful weekend. Frank got me a bike and an infant carrier for his bike and we all went on a bike ride together. It was sooo much fun. Bowen just looked so cute with his little helmet on. Its nice to have a bike again. I have a hard time motivating myself to get to the gym, but during the summer it becomes especially difficult.

Then for Fathers Day we went swimming at Lincon Park Pool. I had no idea that Sundays were Family Swim day. We had so much fun. Athena and Mike also came with Michael and Richard and we all went down the slide and I actually went off the high dive!!! LOL.. I was so scared. I remember back in the day when I was like 9 or 10 I would go off that thing like it was nothing. Doing front dives and front flips. But now that I am older and much bigger I had a hard time jumping off. I stepped back a few times cause I was going to get down but then a line started and I just made myself. It was nice. Still scary but I felt as if I accomplished something. Everyone clapped for me!

Going to post some pictures from our day at the pool. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Update on the Moreno Family

I realized today that it doesn't matter how much you love someone, that a relationship will always be a work in progress. I also realized that day by day I am loosing a piece of my sanity being stuck in this house. I tried to explains to Frank today that I realize he works very hard. That he probably looks forward to coming home from work and relaxing, only to find me pissed off about one thing or another. Then I realized that I am upset cause I NEVER have the opportunity to miss my family. I am around them pretty much 24/7. I need to have that feeling of looking forward to coming home to Bowen and Frank. Right now I just want to get away fm everyone. So, I think I am going to take on a part time job when we get back from vacation. Something not to stressful. I know were supposed to be building hopefully in July on the new house so I should be busy doing that. I am excited to starting on that.

For those who don't know what I am talking about, I am referring to the Mutual Self-Help Housing. It is where you take out a lone through a specified lender and then they base your mortgage payments off of how much you make in a year. Then, you get to pick out the lay out of your house and start building. Everyone gets together that is going to be in your community and everyone helps build each other houses. Its a great way to make new friends and learn new skills. Frank and I are VERY excited to get going on this.

Anyways, I should be posting again on Monday. Frank and I are going to take Bowen to Glenwood Springs on Sunday for Fathers Day and I should have some new pictures to post. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Andromeda
